Ethan: So what gas do they use to purge the tank and make it safe to enter in the first place?

Emma: That would be an inert gas, typically carbon dioxide or nitrogen, to displace all those flammable fuel vapors.

Ethan: Okay, let's talk about getting fuel *in*. What is a single-point fueling system?

Emma: Think of it as a high-speed, centralized fill-up. Fuel is pumped through a single port under the wing into a manifold, which then directs it to the selected tanks.
