Studyfi Company s.r.o., registered office in Nové sada 988/2, Staré Brno, 602 00 Brno, ID: 23170671, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Regional Court in Brno, section C, file 144461 (hereinafter referred to as “Studyfi”) as controller of your personal data as Internet portal users www.studyfi.app and the web application (www.studyfi.app/app) or mobile application Studyfi informs about the collection and other processing of personal data described below and the privacy policy.
In this privacy policy we explain:
- what data we collect about you and for what reason,
- how we use this data
- to whom and in what cases the data may be transmitted,
- for what period of time we process the data,
- what options we offer, including obtaining access to and updating the data, and what other rights you have.
Why we collect and process data
We collect and further work with the data to:
- so that we can contact you back and provide you with the information you have requested;
- to send you newsletters and commercial communications containing commercial communications about news and services offered, if you consent to such mailing;
- to protect and support our business;
- to meet our legal obligations.

Scope of personal data processing
In particular, we process the following data:
- first and last name
- e-mail address
- statistics generated by using the portal
- type of school (secondary, high, elementary...)
- Content generated and created while using the Portal
Who has access to your personal data
Your personal data is processed by Studyfi as controller. For the above purposes, we may transfer your personal data to our associates who participate in our services and subcontractors who perform services on our behalf. We ensure that these entities have a duty of confidentiality. This is, for example, our accounting office, marketing campaign provider, etc. Your personal data is not transferred outside the territory of the European Union.
Period of processing of personal data
We will process your personal data for as long as is strictly necessary, namely:
- for the period during which we provide you with our services or perform a mutual contract and for legal protection another four years thereafter; or
- in the case of processing based on your consent (e.g. sending commercial communications) until its withdrawal;
this applies unless a longer period is required by law (e.g. in the case of fulfilling archiving obligations under applicable law, such as the Accounting Act, the Archiving and Records Act or the Value Added Tax Act).
Security of personal data
We handle your personal data responsibly and in accordance with Czech and European legislation. For the processing of personal data, we mainly use automated, but also manual means.
We have taken technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, damage or destruction of personal data. At the same time, however, the fact that the transmission of data via the Internet is not inherently secure, and therefore we cannot guarantee 100% security of the data transmitted in this way. Your personal data is stored on an external server in the European Union.
Your rights
In relation to the processing of your personal data by us, you can apply:

If you feel that we are not handling your personal data correctly, you can contact your complaints contact the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).
Processing of children's personal data
Our website www.studyfi.app are not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not process personal data of children under the age of 16 in this context. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email address contact@studyfi.app and we will take measures to delete such data.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
We will update this Privacy Policy at our discretion to take into account changes to our practices regarding the processing of personal data.
